The original founder of Vishal Mega Mart used to be Ram Chandra Agarwal, an Indian entrepreneur who started this retail chain but sold it in 2011 to TPG Capital and Shriram Group, while today Vishal Mega Mart is owned by its investors. It is wonderful to have Vishal Mega Mart at Champawat now, amidst many other of it branches, in various places in India. It is systematically divided between floors with thoughtful layouts.Three floors in total, with grocers (rations) sale being on the 3rd floor. The other 2 floors are packed with all sorts of clothing, for ALL genders and sizes. With payment counters being on the ground floor itself.Yes, they accept cash, cards etc.Good to note that women have been given employment here, which is there BUT rare to find in Uttrakhand. What is extremely interesting is the sensible thought of the mall, for creating a 3 story parking next door, on the land that they had bought too, keeping in mind that Parking seems to be always an issue, for those who head here to shop and then? Carry it back how?Properly organized Mall, neat and tidy racks AND a pleasure to see such a place in Champawat after all these years.Worth it.
