First of all, the security personnel at the store clearly do not know their job. They ignored the scanner alarm at the entrance caused by the metal in my garments, but during exit they chose to humiliate me instead of conducting a proper check. As a female customer, I was deeply humiliated when the lady security staff asked me to remove my jeans and even my undergarments inside the trial room to “prove” that I had not stolen anything.I repeatedly informed her that the alarm was due to the metal in my clothing, yet she continued to insist that I remove my clothes. This behaviour is completely unacceptable.I want the owner of Vishal Mega Mart, Jorhat, to take strict action against all the security personnel involved, including the lady security staff and the store manager. The manager walked in but did not even apologise for the humiliation I went through. What do they think a customer would steal inside her undergarments — a packet of biscuits?
